Maria Vanesa, one of AAC’s most advanced students, is now continuing her education at the Uganda School for the Deaf, thanks to the support of a generous donor. There, she is learning American Sign Language (ASL) and gaining the tools she needs to build an independent and empowered future. We are excited for the opportunities that are now available to her.

Malcom is one of the wonderful students we are honored to serve. He lives with cerebral palsy and is known for his bright spirit and contagious smile. Malcom and his family faced a devastating loss when their home was destroyed by fire. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, the family has since received a new home—providing them with safety, comfort, and stability. We are deeply grateful to those who made this possible.

Wasswa Rayan underwent a thyroid scan to help determine the cause of his severe stomach issues. Following the evaluation, he began receiving medical treatment and now attends regular hospital visits. Wasswa has shown significant improvements—his appetite, nutrition, weight, and breathing have all stabilized, and his skin tone has returned to a healthy color. We are incredibly grateful for the progress in his health and for the consistent medical support he is now able to receive.

Joseph began his journey at AAC, where he gained foundational literacy skills. He was later referred to his local school, where he is now thriving with continued support from AAC. Joseph is 1 of 23 children who have successfully transitioned to their local schools. Recently, Joseph underwent a successful operation at CORSU Hospital in Entebbe—one of many life-changing surgeries that have transformed the lives of children in our care.

Kaddu and his grandmother are currently benefiting from generous home renovations made possible by a kind donor. So far, a new roof, doors, and flooring have been completed—bringing much-needed safety and comfort to their home. In addition to the renovations, they’ve received other support, including food, clean water, clothing, multivitamins, and toys. Today, both are happy and healthy.

Since joining AAC, Muwa has made significant improvements. He underwent surgeries to correct his clubfoot and leg positioning, followed by procedures to repair a broken femur. Today, Muwa is able to stand and walk with assistance. He is one of many children whose lives have been transformed through these surgeries.

Cathy became seriously ill, but thanks to your generous donations, she was able to see a doctor and receive a diagnosis of typhoid. She is now receiving consistent medical care and support. In addition to medical treatment, your contributions have helped improve Cathy’s quality of life—allowing her to receive her very first bed and a more comfortable living environment.
